Golden year for Negley couple

NEGLEY - David and Cheryl Hall, Taylor Road, will celebrate their 50th anniversary today. A picnic open house, hosted by their children, is planned from 2-6 p.m. today at their Taylor Road home.

The former Cheryl Tucker, daughter of Chalmer and Betty Nicholson, wed David Hall, the son of Joe and Margaret Hall, on Aug. 24, 1963 at the former Orchard Grove Methodist Church.

Mr. Hall worked for the East Liverpool Fire Department and Penn Power.

Mrs. Hall owned and operated That Extra Touch monogramming.

They are members of the Rogers Assembly of God.

The couple have four children Mrs. Lee (Connie) Welsh, Negley; Jeff Hall, Joe (Sharon) Hall, East Liverpool; and Crystal Ketterer, Canton. They also have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
