LISBON - Two accused murderers were among the criminal defendants arraigned on felony indictments Thursday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

Nicholas J. Carosiello, 32, of Chester, W.Va., pleaded innocent in court to the charge of aggravated murder in the August 2012 shooting death of his estranged wife, Holly Carosiello. He also pleaded innocent to additional charges tampering with evidence and drug possession.

Carosiello remains in the county jail on $1 million bond, which was continued by Judge C. Ashley Pike. He is being represented by attorney Dominic Frank.

Meanwhile, Carosiello's stepfather, Richard L. Lewis, 60, of Madison Township, was also arraigned in court, with attorney Joseph Ludovici representing him. His bond was continued while awaiting his next hearing. Lewis is charged with obstructing official business for allegedly lying to county sheriff's detectives investigating the Holly Carosiello shooting.

Also arraigned on charges related to the shooting investigation was Carosiello's girlfriend, Martina L. Michael, 21, also of Chester, who is charged with obstructing a police business and helping tamper with evidence. She is represented by attorney Damian Billak.

Finally, Mason M. Feisel, 34, of Boardman, was also arraigned in court on murder charges in connection with the June 5 strangulation of his former girlfriend, Samantha Shasteen, in Salem. A county public defender was appointed to represent him.
