As Union soldiers lie wounded behind the fence, the Confederates press on in the recreation of the Battle of Chancellorsville, which was fought from April 30 until May 6, 1863 in Spotsylvania County, Va. The battle was hosted by the Army of the Shenandoah at the annual Jackson in the Valley event which returned to Scenic Vista this year. The event continues today starting at 8 a.m., ending with a 1 p.m. battle titled Eternal Glory.
