SALEM - City police charged eight young male adults with underage consumption and two female juveniles with delinquency after responding to the 100 block of Fair Avenue for a loud party early Sunday.
The call came at 2:49 a.m. and when officers arrived, they saw numerous people scatter throughout the residence. Contact was made with the tenant and after further investigation, the arrests were made.
A 16-year-old Boardman girl and a 17-year-old Columbiana girl were each processed for delinquency and released to their parents.
All of the adults were released on their own recognizance after being processed for underage drinking, also known as underage consumption. Robert B. Cruz, 20, who lived at the residence at 194 1/4 Fair Ave., was one of the arrestees.
Others charged included: Charles Maltbie, 18, of 472 Somer St., Leetonia; Alexander Morris, 19, of 50587 Stagecoach Road, East Liverpool; Craig Smith, 19, of 345 state Route 14, Columbiana; Nickolas Nelson, 19, of 412 Somer St., Leetonia; Thomas Cruz, 18, of 371 Columbia St., Leetonia; Robert Masi, 20, of Poland; and Robert Pacella, 18, of New Middletown.
