Louis Ehlenbach

WELLSVILLE - Louis "Tim" Ehlenbach, 78, of Glasgow Road passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Kindred Hospital in Beaver, Pennsylvania following a lengthy illness.

Born August 5, 1935 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of the late Louis E. and Flossie Holland Ehlenbach. A lifetime area resident, he retired from the former Crucible Steel Company in Midland in 1982 after 31 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.

His loving wife of 55 years, Joann Saltsman Ehlenbach, whom he married December 21, 1957, died this past December 7, 2012.

He lived a loving and giving life and his family was a major part of it. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Muha and her husband, Dave of Wellsville; and two sons, Louis E. Ehlenbach of East Liverpool, and John Ehlenbach of Wellsville.

There are five grandchildren, Louis Matthew Ehlenbach and his wife, Jessi of California, Stephanie Ann Ferraro and her husband, John of Pennsylvania, Michelle Leigh Wiley and her husband Eric of Salem, OH, Michael Scott Ehlenbach and his wife, Megan of East Liverpool, and John Christopher Ehlenbach of Lisbon; and six great grandchildren, Alexis Nicole Wiley, John Douglas Ferraro III, Olivia Michelle Ferraro, Isabelle Claire Ehlenbach, Alice Renee Ehlenbach, and Mikaela Jean Ehlenbach.

He also leaves behind one sister, Esther Goodwin of Lakeland, Florida.

Friends may visit the family on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Pastor Dirk Hall of the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Family and Friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center immediately following the service.
