Western Reserve 47, South Range 46

BERLIN CENTER - Western Reserve used a fourth quarter rally and picked up a close win over visiting South Range Friday 47-46.

Leading the Blue Devils was Tim Cooper with 10 points. Payton Snyder added nine, and Nick Tobin had seven points and eight rebounds.

For Range, Garrett Anderson had 14 points. Jake Arsuffi added 13, and Tyler Beverly 12.

Western Reserve (3-6, 1-4 ITCL Tier 2) will host Wellsville Tuesday.

South Range (3-6, 2-3 ITCL Tier 1) travels to Crestview.

BELOIT - West Branch edged Minerva 48-46 in NBC hoops action Friday.

Leading the Warriors was Kip DeShields with 13 points. Beay Taylor added 11 points, and Jacob Griffith had eight points and five rebounds.

For Minerva (0-8, 0-5 NBC), Jantzen Locke had 25 points.

West Branch won the reserve game 42-37.

West Branch (3-6, 1-4 NBC) plays Tuesday at Louisville.

SEBRING - The Sebring Trojans notched a league victory to get back to .500 on the season 45-37 over Jackson-Milton.

Leading the Trojans was Dylan Mick with 18 points and four rebounds. Josh Hurford added seven points, eight assists and three steals.

For the Bluejays (1-8, 0-6 ITCL Tier 2), Jake McAdams had 12 points.

Jackson-Milton won the reserve game 36-32. Aaron McDaniel and Andrew Weingart had seven points each for Sebring.

Sebring (4-4, 3-3 ITCL Tier 2) plays Tuesday at Leetonia.

LEETONIA - Leetonia outscored Youngstown Christian in every quarter for an impressive 63-55 win Friday.

Trent Ferry guided the Bears with a game-high 22 points.

Ian Sevenich contributed 11 points and three steals and Ian Stecker had nine points and six rebounds.

Dylan Williams topped the Eagles with 17 points.

Leetonia improves to 4-6 and will host Sebring on Tueseday.

Youngstown Christian won the reserve game, 60-39, behind Kimbrough's 20 points. Drew Turney had nine for the Bears.
