EAST LIVERPOOL - Catherine Vodrey and Stephen Huba, both of East Liverpool, are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is a 1981 graduate of Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh and a 1985 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. She earned a masters in education at Duquesne University. Since 2003, she has served as Tri-State Area Citizens' Scholarship Foundation vice president.
Her fiance is a 1982 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a 1987 graduate of Ohio University. He is employed as a staff writer at The Review, covering Hancock County.
