Crestview dominates All-Area Football Team

December 25, 2012
From Journal Staff Reports , Morning Journal News

Crestview, the highest-scoring team in Columbiana County history, dominates the Morning Journal's 2012 All-Area Football Team.

The Rebels placed seven players on the first team for a second straight year and swept the top honors after posting the school's first 10-0 regular season.

Senior Nick Blower is the Back of the Year and junior Josh McDade the Lineman of the Year, while Paul Cusick repeats as Coach of the Year to highlight the squad.

The Rebels scored a county-record 628 points on the way to a school-best 11-1 season, a fifth straight Inter-Tri County League upper tier title and their highest state ranking with fifth place in Division V.

See Tuesday's Morning Journal for the complete All-Area team.
