Jack A. Pozenel, 77, was called home by the Lord on Thursday Dec. 6, 2012 in Fort Mohave AZ.
He was born Jan. 19, 1935 to Jack L & Brigetta Pozenel in East Liverpool, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty: daughters Terry (Jeff) Honnold, Betsy Spain, and Jennifer Pozenel; son Jack (Maggie) Pozenel; nine grandchildren and four great-grandsons. He is also survived by his sister Sandie (John) Shulas of West Point, Ohio and brother Mike (April) Pozenel of Lisbon, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest son, Gregory A. Pozenel.
Jack was a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Laughlin NV and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from David Anderson High School in Lisbon and from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio.
Jack was a true Ohio sports fan. He loved the Cleveland Browns and the Indians and Ohio State football. He enjoyed many years of bowling and participating in national bowling tournaments.
Jack enjoyed his family slightly more than he enjoyed bridge, bowling, and golf. He takes with him all our love and we will hold him close to our hearts.
There will be no services at this time. A private memorial gathering will be held in Ohio at a later date.
The family requests no flowers but memorials may be sent to the Susan G Komen foundation for breast cancer or the American Cancer society.
