Columbiana 80, Wellsville 33

COLUMBIANA - Columbiana ran over Wellsville Thursday 80-33.

Leading the Lady Clipers was Khylea Fullum with a game and career-high 37 points. Megan Cutlip added 22 points.

For Wellsville, Shartece Taylor had nine points.

Columbiana hosts Lowellville Monday, while Wellsville welcomes Leetonia.

Crestview 65, East Palestine 46

NEW WATERFORD - Crestview topped East Palestine 65-46 Thursday in high school girls hoops action.

Leading the the Lady Rebels was Ashley Harrison with a game-high 31 points and five steals. Morgan Newbauer had nine points, nine rebounds and four assists, and Annie Hardenbrook had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.

East Palestine was led by Marissa Gorby with 17 points. Brooke Gedeon added 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Crestview also won the reserve contest 44-27. Bri Cope had 19 for the Lady Rebels. Abby Fuller and Courtney Weber had eight each for East Palestine.

Crestview (7-1, 3-0 ITCL Tier 1) plays Monday at United.

East Palestine (1-4, 0-3 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Jackson-Milton.

HANOVERTON - United improved to 6-0 on the season with a 59-40 win over Springfield Thursday.

Leading the Lady Golden Eagles was Emily Zehentbauer with 13 points. Sam Spitler added 12 points, and MacKenzie Gatchel added 10.

Callie Ford had 12 for the Lady Tigers (1-4, 1-2 ITCL Tier 1). Baylee Felger added 11.

United also won the J.V. game 53-17. Allison Parks and Kassie Chestbut had nine points each.

United (6-0, 3-0 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Crestview Monday.

For Sebring, Kelsie Settle had seven points and seven rebounds, and Murphy Flowers added six points.

Sebring (2-5, 0-3 ITCL Tier 2) hosts McDonald Monday.

LEETONIA - Southern's Kati Hipsley scored 16 points to help lead the Lady Indians past Leetonia 44-32 Thursday.

Rachel Coil added 12 points.

For Leetonia, Nicole Mann had 12 points and five rebounds. Kinzie Smith added nine points, and Delaney Gardner pulled down six boards.

Leetonia won the reserve contest 21-6. Mara Newton and Julie Chuey had eight points each for the Lady Bears.

Leetonia (1-5, 0-3 ITCL Tier 2) plays Monday at Wellsville.

LISBON - Jackson-Milton topped Lisbon Thursday 54-45.

Leading the Lady Bluejays was Madison Tomaino with 15 points.

For Lisbon, Pam Pierce had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Tiffany Ketchum had 13 points and three assists, and Katy Crismon had 11 points.

There was no reserve contest.

Lisbon (3-3, 1-2 ITCL Tier 1) plays Monday at South Range.

SALEM - The Marlington freshman boys team beat Salem 44-43 in freshman basketball action Thursday.

Leading Salem was D.J. Pullie with 15 points. Brandon Weikart added 12, and Trey Toothman had seven.

Salem (3-1) will host South Range 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem High School.

Salem vs. Mooney

SALEM - The Salem freshman girls basketball team fell to Mooney 42-20. Kendra Richardson had six points for the Lady Quakers.

United vs. Wellsville

HANOVERTON - The United eighth grade girls defeated Wellsville 42-16. Mariah Eisenbraun had 11 points. Brynn Hofmeister added 10. United (2-3) plays Monday vs. Mineral Ridge.

The United eighth grade boys basketball team fell to Wellsville 47-38. Jake Clark had 25 for United. The Eagles play Monday at Mineral Ridge.
