STRUTHERS - The Salem Quakers' goal was to be 3-0 by the time head coach Rich Hart returned to court side. While the team won't find out until today if Hart will be cleared to return for their home opener Friday, a 3-0 non-conference start is exactly what they achieved with a 76-42 win over Struthers Tuesday.
Ryan Bush led Salem with 26 points. Max Wolfgang tallied 13, and Zach Economous hit three 3-pointers for nine.
The Salem J.V. team lost 44-30.
Salem (3-0, 1-0 NBC) hosts Marlington Friday at John A. Cabas Gymnasium.
