Robert J. (Joe) Davner, 59, of Rogers, Ohio passed away of natural causes at his home on November 22, 2012.
Bob (Joe) worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed traveling. Bob (Joe) was a valued friend to many in the community & his family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Clarence & Nellie Noel of Signal and Joseph & Lillian Davner of Lisbon; his stepfather, Ernie Gonter of Florida; uncle Joseph Davner and a sister Jennifer Chamberlain.
He is survived by his daughter Lacey Davner of Indiana, mother Janet Gonter of Florida, father Paul (Dorothy) Davner of E. Liverpool, OH, step-mother Patsy Davner of Salem, OH, brothers Charles (Bill) Gonter, Michael Gonter of Florida, and Paul (Eddie) Davner of Minerva, OH; sisters Linda Watson of Salem, OH, and Patty Thornhill of Lisbon, OH; aunts Martha Burns of Florida, Nancy Fiala of Brookpark, OH, Carole Watkins of Tennessee & Irene Pahanish of Lisbon, and his ex-wife Laura Davner of Florida as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Burial with a "Celebration of Life" service was held at Achor Valley Cemetery on December 5 for family & close friends.
