EAST PALESTINE - Courtney Hydrick tallied 19 points as United kept its hot start going with a 69-36 win over East Palestine on Monday.
The Eagles (5-0, 2-0) were up 28-1 after a quarter and cruised from there.
Sam Spitler added 13 points.
"The girls came out focused to do a job tonight and did what they needed to do," United coach Sam Mathias said. "We have a tough stretch of games with the top three teams in the league coming up (Springfield, Crestview, South Range) and needed to learn to set a tone and improve our games. I'm very proud of the girls tonight."
Brooke Gedeon had 13 points for the Bulldogs. Courtney Weber added 11 points.
United hosts Springfield on Thursday, while East Palestine travels to Crestview on Thursday.
United won the jayvee game, 48-18. Sydney Moats and Kenzie Firth had eight points each for the winners. Courtney Weber had six points for East Palestine.
