EAST LIVERPOOL - A Wilbert Avenue woman was found dead in her home Sunday morning by her young daughter, and an autopsy is pending, but police said it appeared she died of natural causes.

The woman, in her mid-30s, was found just before 11 a.m. by her 7-year-old daughter, who ran to a neighbor's apartment in the housing complex. Also in the home was the woman's 10-month-old child.

Officers responded along with Tri-County ambulance crews, where they found the woman's body. The coroner indicated she had not been dead long, according to police.

Formerly of Fort Pierce, Fla., the woman had lived in the city about a year, neighbors told police. She has no relatives in the area, but a sister in Florida was notified of her death, officers said.

Meanwhile, Children's Services was notified and placed the children with foster parents here. Officers said they have different fathers, neither of whom will likely be able to take custody of them.
