HANOVERTON - Harold and Shirley Thompson, Hanoverton, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22.
The former Shirley Rowley married Harold Thompson on Oct. 22, 1947 at the Bethel Presbyterian Church in Salineville.
The couple have four children, David Thompson, Hanoverton; Diane (Janis) Baltputnis, Salem; James (Susan) Thompson, Lisbon; and Lynnelle (Elmer) Zimmerman, New Waterford. They also have three grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and one step-great-grandchild.
