SALEM - In the rubber match, South Range bounced United from the Division III sectional volleyball tournament at Salem High School.
South Range rallied from two games down for a 22-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-9 victory on Tuesday night.
The teams had split their two meetings in the Inter-Tri County League.
Fourth-seeded South Range (15-7) advances to play Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Ashley Shetter guided the Raiders with 16 kills, 25 digs, 11 points and two aces. Stevie Taylor had 13 kills, 15 digs,10 points and two aces and Lynnie Ritter collected seven kills and nine blocks.
The Eagles finish the season with a 13-10 record.
United's leaders were Mollie Phillis with 18 kills, 22 digs and five aces and Sam Spitler with 10 kills and 23 digs.
In the opening match Tuesday, top-seeded Waterloo disposed of Campbell Memorial, 25-4, 25-13, 25-4.
Waterloo (19-3) is the first district qualifier and will meet the South Range-St. Thomas winner at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Campbell finishes with a 2-20 mark.
