The annual charity polo match sponsored by the Powers Polo Training Center was held in East Palestine Saturday with proceeds going to the village's Social Concerns. Riding with Mark Powers on Team TAPCo was a newcomer, 12-year-old Jack McClane of Sewickley, Pa. An extremely tough competitor, Jack fell from his horse as he extended his reach a bit too far while challenging Frank Torres from Team Darlington for control of the ball. McClane was not hurt in the incident.
