Firefighters from Green Township with assistance from Leetonia, Beaver Township, and Damascus fire departments battled a barn blaze at 14350 Green Beaver Road. Green Township Fire Chief Todd Baird could not give a cause for the blaze which started around 5:45 p.m. with firefighters still remaining on the scene after midnight. Baird thought the property was owned by the former owner of Bernard-Daniels Lumber in Canfield. The barn and its contents were a total loss.
