ROANOKE, Va. - Billy Seidner passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at his home in Roanoke, Va. He was 67.
Born in Salem, Ohio, March 27, 1945, the son of Eunice M. and the late William A. Seidner of Lisbon, he attended David Anderson High School with the class of 1963. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Billy earned his private pilot license at age 16 and later owned his own airplane. In addition, he enjoyed boating and his two dogs at home. Locally, he worked for City Loan of Lisbon in the early 1970s, later moving throughout several states while employed for GMAC Finance until his retirement.
In addition to his mother Eunice, he is survived by his brothers Mike (Karen) Seidner, Jeffrey, Randall, and sisters Tammy (Kevin) Hiscox and Michelle Seidner, along with aunts, uncles and many niece and nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by his father William, brother Robbie, and grandparents James and Thelma Butream.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held Sunday, September 23 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lisbon with Rev. Pam Gable officiating.
