FORT MYERS, Fla. - Helen Bichsel Kennedy, former resident of Tropicana Mobile Manor in Ft. Myers, FL passed away in Ft Myers, August 27, 2012. Helen would have been 100 years on Dec. 15th, 2012. She was born in New Philadelphia, Ohio, the daughter of Mary and Ulrich Bichsel who were emigrants from Switzerland. Helen was the last surviving child of 14 siblings.
Helen was married to Chester E. Kennedy, who passed away in 1981. Helen and Ches lived and worked in Lisbon, Ohio before moving to Florida in the early 1970's. Graveside services will be held in October at Evergreen Cemetery in New Philadelphia, OH. Helen is survived by daughter Sandy Pinnicks (Roger) of Ohio and son Rick Kennedy (Elise) of Sanibel, FL. Also, four granddaughters, Julie Debord (Tom) and Lori Adams (Nick) of Ft Myers, FL, Dr. Amy Dunn (Mike) of Atlanta, GA and Samantha Kennedy Moran (Kyle) of Naples, FL and four great grandchildren, Max Adams, Brooke Adams, McKenna Adams and Kate Moran, all of Florida.
