NASHVILLE, Tenn. - John James Bash, Nashville, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2012, at his residence.
Born May 11, 1953, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John H. Bash, Negley, Ohio, and the late June E. Simpson Bash. John enjoyed bowling, going to the movies, live performances, and people watching. He had been employed as a hospital technician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Surviving in addition to his father are his step-mother, Mary Bash, Negley, Ohio, his three children and their spouses, Melissa (Matthew) McCarrell, Hookstown, Pa., Andrew (Kristen) Bash, Pittsburgh, and Damien (Patricia) Bash, New Brighton, Pa.; five grandchildren, Gage, William, Sara, Ashleigh and Lilly; six siblings, Richard Bash, Marcella Bash, Frances Hupp, Lori Douthitt, Jeffrey Bash and Ronald Bash; and four step-brothers Harold, Gary, Bob and Tom Donnalley.
In addition to his mother, John was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Bash, and a grandson, Conner Bash.
A celebration of John's life will be held Saturday September, 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, 2000 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. The Reverend Randy Schultz, Common Ground Fellowship, Aliquippa, Pa and the Reverend Dr. Judy Angleberger, Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in John's name, to Common Ground Fellowship (building fund), 2370 Hospital Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
