STEPHENS CITY, Va. - Patricia Green Divilbiss, age 72, of Stephens City, VA died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
Born May 28, 1940 in Fredericktown, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clarence Charles and Mabel Mae Hoover Green.
She was a member of Greenway Spirit & Word Fellowship in Stephens City, VA. She was a graduate of New Waterford High School in Ohio and had formerly served in the U.S. Navy. She retired from the Department of Defense in 1994 as a surface communications and transmitter logistics operator. She enjoyed the swimming program at the wellness center of War Memorial Hospital.
Pat is survived by one son Bruce Allen Davis and wife, Mary of Winchester, VA, two grandchildren, Lucinda Bishop, Stephens City, VA and Timothy McAuliffe, Winchester, VA, two great grandchildren, Jannel Gates and Melissa Bishop, Stephens City, VA, three sisters, Vera Doss, Columbiana, Ohio, Kaleen Green, Calcutta, Ohio, Pamela Barrett, Fredericktown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel McDonald.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV, with Rev. Robert K. Binyard officiating. Burial will be in Woodrow Union Cemetery, Paw Paw, WV.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
