HAMMONDSVILLE - Samuel W. French Sr.,62, of Twp Rd. 289, died Friday morning at the Salem Community Hospital in Salem, Ohio.

He was born on January 30, 1950 in Leetonia, a son of the late John and Irene Eoff French.

Sam lived all his life in the area and worked at BK Beverage in Salineville, Ohio for many years. He enjoyed working on his tractors and loved to spend time fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Sherry (Buddy) Cronin of Hammondsville and Tonia Cramer of Lisbon; one son Samuel (Beth) French Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, John French of Salem, and George French of California; four sisters, Mary Byers of Salem, Hazel French of Lisbon, Mickey of Wellsville , Rose of California; seven grandchildren, Hunter and Gunner Cronin of Hammondsville, Payge, Dawna, and Elijah French of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Nathan and Frehley Cramer of Lisbon.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim French and one grandson Devin Swager.

Family and friends may call from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville, Ohio, with a funeral service immediately following.
