Daw Middle football to start at 5:30 p.m.

WELLSVILLE -?The Daw Middle School football game against East Palestine will start at 5:30 p.m. today instead of 5 p.m. as originally scheduled. The game will be at Nicholson Field.

Wellsville Touchdown Club meeting today

WELLSVILLE - The Wellsvillle Touchdown Club will hold a brief meeting for all 7-8th grade football parents at the weight room at Nicholson Stadium following Thursday's game.

Crestview-Beaver Local football tickets

CALCUTTA - Presale tickets for the Crestview-Beaver?Local football game slated for 7 p.m. Friday at Fighting Beaver?Stadium will be on sale at the following locations:?BLHS, BLMS, Beaver Creek Minimart, Campbell's Signs, 7&30 Superette. Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors.

EL YMCA fall sports league registration

EAST LIVERPOOL - Registration for the East Liverpool YMCA fall sports leagues is now open. Deadline is Sept. 9. Forms can be picked up at both the EL and Calcutta YMCA locations. For more information, call 330-385-0663.

Wellsville football presale tickets on sale

WELLSVILLE - Wellsville will be selling football tickets Thursday and Friday for Friday night's game at Oak Glen. Tickets will be on sale from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, and from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the athletic office at the high school. The cost is $5 for adults, and $4 for students. All tickets at the gate will be $6.

Oak Glen fans asked to wear gold Friday

NEW MANCHESTER - There will be a "Gold Rush" at Oak Glen's first home football game at the new stadium. Fans are asked to wear gold shirts to show their support for the team and celebrate the new stadium. The first 200 fans to enter the stadium Friday wearing a gold Oak Glen shirt will receive a commemorative Bearable Towel. Towels will also be available for purchase at the game. This season's gold shirts can be purchased at the New Cumberland Pharmacy or Chester's Citizen Drug Store before the game or at the shirt shack the day of the game for $10.

Beaver Local holding pasta dinner Friday

CALCUTTA - There will be a pasta dinner before the Crestview at Beaver Local football game Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Beaver Local High School cafeteria. Dinner includes: penne and meatballs, salad, roll, and drink. Cost is $7. Tickets are available at Campbell's Signs, at the high school office or at the door. Carryout is available. The event is sponsored by Beaver Local Baseball.
