LISBON - Richard A. Blair, 62, of Moore Street, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at his home.
Mr. Blair was born June 9, 1950 in Salem, a son of the late Donnie and Ruth (Biggins) Blair, Sr. and was a life resident of the area.
He was a machinist and had worked at numerous machine shops, retiring from Sekely Industries in Salem after three years, due to health reasons.
Mr. Blair was a former member of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene; a social member of the Lisbon VFW Post 4111, and a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Travis) Barnes of Lisbon; sons, Ryan (Sara) Blair of Salem and Dustin (Erin Lake) Blair of Lisbon; sisters, Beverly Chamberlain of Lisbon, Mary Ann (Dennis) Sheely of New Springfield, and Marjorie (Rickie) Davis of Wellsville; brothers, Donnie (Barbara) Blair Jr., of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Michael Blair of Lisbon; grandchildren, Devon D'Alessio, Kaiden Blair, Trenidy Barnes, Blaine Barnes, Braden Blair, Harley Blair, Bentley Blair; and his beloved bird, Joe
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Blair.
No funeral services will be observed.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
