Margaret Capraruolo

NEWELL, W.Va. - Margaret Ann Capraruolo of Newell, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Monday August 27, 2012 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was 82.

Born in Stratton, Ohio, April 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Turcowski and Mary Fecic Turcowski Voltz. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

She worked at Weirton Medical Center in the physical therapy department, as well as the pharmacy and laundry. Previously, she worked at the former Hills Department Store and Fox Nursing Home.

Her husband of 65 years, Anthony P. Capraruolo, survives at home. The couple married August 16, 1947. She is also survived by her three daughters, Chris Bell of East Liverpool, Theresa "Terry" Headley and her husband Michael of Struthers, and Carla Link and her husband Randy of Wheeling, as well as a son, John A. Capraruolo, Sr. and his wife Jeanne of East Liverpool.

There are two sisters, Elizabeth Marioneaux of Irondale and Kathy Fullerton and her husband Walter of Toronto.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Steve Bell, Niki Wilkinson, Melissa Clay, John A. Capraruolo, Jr., Michele Taylor, Eric Headley, Nick Headley, Dr. Jodi Lindsey and Kristen Link; along with 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Coleman and Mary Elish, and three brothers: Thomas Turcowski, Michael Turcowski and Paul Voltz.

Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Fr. Peter Haladej will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Church.

Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, family and friends will gather for fellowship at Dawson Family Center.

Memorial tributes may take the form of contributions in care of Holy Trinity Parish or St. Aloysius School, 512 Monroe Street, East Liverpool, Ohio.
