LISBON - David N. McCoy, 75, of Lisbon, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Hospice House in Poland.
Born in East Liverpool, January 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Denzil R. and Kathleen Otley McCoy. He worked at the former Crucible Steel Company as well as Homer Laughlin China Company at one time. A lifetime area resident, he was a member of Moose Lodge No. 122.
His wife, Violet Kernich McCoy, survives at home. The couple married in 1975.
Other survivors include his children, Michelle Becker of Virginia, David McCoy of California, Charlie McCoy of California, Mark McCoy of Beloit, Ohio, and Ed Kernich of Lisbon.
There are two sisters, Delores "Dee" Billingsley of East Liverpool and June Bishop of Bellefontaine, Ohio as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McCoy.
The Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
