MINERVA - George E. Coldsnow, age 69 of Minerva, died Thursday August 16, 2012 in his home. He was born Sept. 23, 1942 in Carroll County, the son of Frank and Anna (Mardis) Coldsnow.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver for many years and had worked 18 years for Dyneer Corporation in Canton. He is a member of Grace Chapel in Minerva.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marolyn (Tarbet) Coldsnow, who died in 2010. He is survived by three daughters, Tauni (Jeff) Weber of Kensington, Trina Schoeppner of Canton and Melissa Christensen of East Rochester; a sister, Mary (Ken) Hill of Tennessee, two brothers, Everett Coldsnow of East Rochester and Bob Coldsnow of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Chad (Shannon) Weber, Brandi (David) Howard, Joshua (Devin) Schoeppner, Zachary Schoeppner, Jordan Weber, Katelynn and Kyle Christensen; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Jackson.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Kirt Henman officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
