I'm writing in regards to a traffic problem in the area of Fairfield Avenue and Metz Road. A caution light and reduced speed to 25 miles an hour could help a lot. The speed is now 35 mph, nowhere is the speed 35 mph on other streets in Columbiana.
Tuesday, Aug. 7 another accident took place at this area. Two cars were totaled and the occupants sent to a hospital.
Traffic has increased so much in the past 10 to 15 years: Columbiana and Crestview Schools and their events, housing developments, four baseball fields, Save-a-Lot, car and truck traffic, bikers, walkers, runners, joggers. This happens all day long.
I would like this to be given serious consideration soon.
