Morning Journal News

Bernd Rosellem, 63, of Prompton, Pa. was flown with non-life threatening injuries by STAT MedEvac to Aultman Hospital in Canton Wednesday. Rosellem was westbound on his 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on U.S. 30 when he struck a 1996 blue Chevy Lumina driven by Lynette Hooley of Ranger, Ga. Hooley was making a left turn onto Gavers Road when Rosellem went left of center in a no passing zone and struck her vehicle between the driver's side door and front wheel. Investigating Trooper Kevin Thompson said Rosellem will be cited for improper passing. Hanoverton firefighters and KLG Ambulance responded to the accident for traffic control and set up the landing zone at Queens Garden Lake.
