MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Christina Lorraine Wilkinson passed away on July 9, 2012 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. at the age of 60 from complications due to diabetes.

A native of East Liverpool, Ohio, Christina lived for many years in Anaheim, Calif., where she was owner/operator of Christina's Hair Design. She was a graduate of Loara High School and Marinello-Comer School of Beauty.

She later became a resident of Nashville, Tenn., where she worked as a field sales trainer for Sally Beauty Supply chain and later as a collections agent for the Internal Revenue Service. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Stock and her sister, Lisa Marie Wilkinson.

Christina enjoyed a number of hobbies, including gardening, books and films, and was an avid collector of Gone with the Wind memorabilia.

She was a loyal and loving daughter, sister and friend.

In death, Christina will be joining her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Durbin, her father, John R. Wilkinson, and her step-father, Clyde W. Stock.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 21 from 2-2:30 p.m. with memorial service to follow at New Generation Funeral Home in Antioch, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
