EAST LIVERPOOL Robert Williams, 50, of Lisbon Street and formerly of Wellsville, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool on November 1, 1961, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Edith Disque Williams. A resident of this area all his life, he worked at the Sammis Power Plant at one time.
Robert attended the First Christian Church in Wellsville as a young man, and was graduated from Wellsville High School in 1980.
Surviving is his sister, Judith K. "Judi" Williams Blazer, her husband, Samuel "Pete" Blazer, and their dog, Bubb-a, of East Liverpool. Also surviving are his friends since kindergarten, who will sadly miss him: Richard Crawford, Greg Chrislip, Neal Smith, Blaine Edison, Kevin and Tammy Hoschar, and a special girl, Brittany Hoschar.
Pastor Mark Blakely of the church will conduct a memorial service for Robert at the Dawson Funeral Home at a later date. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery.
