ALLIANCE - Jenny A. Wittway, 67, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at 9:50 p.m. after a courageous three year battle with cancer.
Born on October 31, 1944 in Alliance, she lived in Alliance most of her life.
Jenny was a 1963 graduate of East Palestine High School, and retired from Coastal Pet after 17 years of service.
She spent her time putting others first, being a mother to everyone that touched her life. Her laugh and presence will be sadly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Monica and John Wright of Alliance; a grandson Eric Wright; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kelly Wittway of Alliance; grandchildren, Kyle Dias and Shelby Wittway; three sisters, Marie McDade of Salem, Judy Laber of Salem and Roberta Lintz of Butler, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Patricia Williams of Alliance; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert "Dick" Wittway on February 15, 1984, whom she married on March 2, 1967; her parents, Harry and Irene (Carter) McDade; a brother, John D. McDade.
Private funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
There are no calling hours.
