EAST LIVERPOOL - Lulu E. Sage, 90 of East Liverpool died on Thursday, June 28, 2012 following a brief illness. She was born in Roundup, Montana on December 4, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (Ullom) Anderson. Living most of her adult life in this area she was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Sage was a member of the East Liverpool Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Her husband, William A. Sage, whom she married on February 2, 1939 died in 1989.
She is survived by three sons: Colvin A. Sage and his wife Kathryn of East Liverpool, Anson L. Sage of Columbiana and Cody M. Sage of East Liverpool; two daughters: Rhonda Munoz and Sandra Reed both of East Liverpool; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son: Terry W. Sage; two sisters and one grandson.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2:00PM with Leslie Crosier an elder from the local Jehovah's Witnesses.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Monday from Noon until the time of the service at 2:00PM
Following the service, family and friends will gather for food and fellowship at the Hospitality Center of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes at 145 West 5th Street in downtown East Liverpool.
