Too often young people get a bad rap. I appreciate it when one has a noteworthy accomplishment or does an outstanding kindness.
Monday, when in the drive-through at McDonald's, I noticed a young girl ahead of me with car keys hanging out of her trunk lock. I got out and went to her window and knocked. I told her to stay in the car, I'd get her keys for her.
She was very appreciative and when I got to the window to pay for my sandwich, she'd already picked up my tab. What a sweetheart. It really made my day.
