SALINEVILLE - Addie Louise Meister, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Tuesday morning.
She was born June 6, 1927 at her family home in Colum-biana County, a daughter of the late Frank and Cleora Snyder Ketchum.
Addie Louise was a homemaker and retired from driving school bus for Columbiana County disabled children. She was a member of the Salineville Assembly of God Church for 40 plus years. She taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Women's Missionary Class. She was also a great prayer warrior for her Lord Jesus whom she loved with all her heart. She was saved when she was eleven years old and has lived for Jesus since. She has been attending Riley's Church.
Addie Louise married Lloyd Meister Sr. whom she loved with all her heart on January 14, 1944, and had six wonderful children. She is survived by four sons; Lloyd "Pud" (Ann) Meister Jr. of Salineville, Robert Meister of Deltona, Fl., Paul (Kimberly) Meister of Mechanicstown, and Jay (Debra) Meister of Salineville; and one daughter Dolly (Tom) Smith of Mechanicstown; one sister in law, Pauline (Richard) Straub of Salem; seven wonderful grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Dobransky of Pickerington, OH, Aaron (Melanie) Meister of Newton Falls, OH, Brandon Smith of Carrollton, Brooke (Chad) Moore of Mechanicstown, Nicole (Chad) Kellogg of Salineville, Holly Meister of Salineville, and Samantha Meister of Salineville; two step grandchildren, Brittany and Ryan Spahr; seven great grandchildren, Caden, Colton, Alyssa, Jada Brooke, Hayley, Kayla, and Katie; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd who died on March 13, 1992; her daughter Joann Meister; five brothers, Earl Ketchum, Miles Ketchum, Frank Ketchum, George Ketchum and Alvin Ketchum; two sisters, Cleora Bach and Mamie Anderson.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 1:00 PM at the Salineville Assembly of God Church with the Pastor Rodney Ohler of the Church, and Pastor Pat Smith of Riley's Church and John Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Salineville, Ohio.
Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville on Thursday evening 6-8 PM, and Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
