Patricia A. Berry, age 76, completed her earthly journey, on the morning of June 24th in her home, and is now at rest.

She was born August 23, 1935 in Canton. She was a 1953 graduate of East Canton High School and worked at the Village Store for nine years and for Helping Hands Day Care until retiring in 1991.

She was a member of East Canton Church of God, Women of the Church of God and the Widows Mite group. She enjoyed gospel music, gardening, sewing and baking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clarence Berry in 2002; her father, Ivan Gerer and son-in-law, Roger Eick.

Survivors include her mother, Bernetta (Hambaugh) Gerer of Louisville; two daughters and sons-in-law, LeAnna (Kurt) Christner of Malvern, OH. and Patricia (Terry) McLaughlin of Mansfield and son and daughter-in- law, Alan T. (Amber) Berry of Norton, OH.

There are eight grandchildren; Robert A., Ryan A., Morgan A., and Meghan A. Eick, Meredith A. Sommer, Alan T. Berry Jr., Autumn A. Berry and Hannah E. McLaughlin.

The family wishes to thank Great Lakes Caring Hospice for the kind and loving care they provided.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00am in the East Canton Church of God, 201 East Nassau Street in East Canton, with Rev. Patricia Hostetler officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 5-8pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel as well as one hour prior to the service at the church from 10-11am.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the East Canton Church of God.
