SALEM - Lori Brooke, Salem; and David Macovitz, Struthers; are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah E. Macovitz, to David M. Verdinek, son of Nancy and Mark Renzenbrink and David and Sue Verdinek, all of Boardman.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in social work. She is employed as a social worker at Valley Counseling Services Inc., Warren.
Her fiance is employed as a poltrusion operator at Vinyl Profiles Inc., North Jackson.
The couple is planning an open Aug. 4 wedding at Fellows Riverside Gardens with an invitation only reception to follow at The Links at Firestone Farms, Columbiana.
