SALEM - Eric and Michelle Shasteen, Salem, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Beth Shasteen, to Tyler Bender, son of Samuel and Ginger Bender, Salem.
The bride-elect graduated from Salem High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Mount Union in 2010. She is currently employed as an elementary music teacher.
Her fiance is also a 2006 graduate of Salem High School and received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Youngstown State University in 2010. He is currently employed at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
