EAST PALESTINE - Mr. and Mrs. James McLaughlin, East Palestine, will celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 16.
The former Sara "Sis" McCowin, married James "Jim" McLaughlin, on May 16, 1947 in Negley.
Mr. McLaughlin is a graduate of Peters Township High School in Pennsylvania and retired from HCR as a construction superintendent in 1988.

Mrs. McLaughlin graduated from East Palestine High School and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1989.
They have one daughter, Vicky (Gary) Mohr, East Palestine, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
