ENON VALLEY - John Howard "Jack" Schwartz, 70, of Enon Valley, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at his residence.
Born September 3, 1941 in Big Beaver to the late Hilda Crees Schwartz, he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Petersburg, Ohio. He retired after 23 years of service from B and W, where he was employed in the hot mill department. Jack also owned and operated Schwartz Trucking, Ltd. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Lura Lyn Keefer Schwartz; a son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Lori Schwartz, East Palestine, Ohio; a daughter, Shelley Kenny, Sauquoit, N.Y.; a brother, Kenneth Schwartz and Mary McCulloch, Wampum; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Arthur Bable, Kittanning, Pa.; six grandchildren, Barbara Kenny, John Schwartz, Katie Kenny, Megan Kenny, Marshall Schwartz and Ethan Kenny; two great-grandchildren, William and Savannah; his mother-in law and father-in-law, Ross and Catherine Keefer, Darlington and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in Lutton Chippewa Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, www.luttonfuneralhome.com. Jack will lie in state Friday from 10 a.m. until the service at noon in St. John's Lutheran Church, 14394 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, Ohio 44454. His pastor, Aimee Raymond, will officiate.
Private internment will be in Little Beaver Cemetery.
