A daughter of the late Catherine E. and Harry Dunlap Fleming, she was born on January 28, 1938 in Belle Vernon, Pa. She and her family had come to this area in 1951, where she had lived ever since, with the exception of 20 years in New York and Florida.

Two sisters also survive, Gloria Pugh and her husband, Gene, of East Liverpool and Janie Edwards and her husband, Roger, of Lisbon, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends who will miss "Dot's" spunk and colorful view of life.

In addition to her parents and her husband, "Dot" was preceded in death recently by a sister, Kathleen "Kat" Everhart, as well as a brother, Harry D. "Buddy" Fleming and a granddaughter, Heidi McGonigal.

A memorial service honoring the life of "Dot" and her late sister, "Kat" will be held later in the summer. In the meantime, family and friends are invited to gather at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the home of "Dot's" daughter, Kitty Ward.
