SALEM - Erica M. Hightland, age 3 months, died Sunday morning, April 8, 2012 at the Akron Children's Hospital. She was born December 13, 2011 in Salem, the daughter of Troy and Samantha (Morris) Hightland.
Survivors include her parents, Troy and Samantha Hightland of Salem; a sister, Emily Hightland of the home, an aunt, Heather Byrd of Salem; four uncles, Joey Morris, Shawn Morris, Christopher Hightland and Matthew Hightland; maternal grandfather, Tom Goodman; step grandfather, Wayne Miner; grandmothers, Diana Hightland and Myra Hall; great-grandparents, Carl Black and Joe Morris; and a nephew.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2012 at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Sheely officiating. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
