WELLSVILLE - Robert and Sharon Halfhill, Wellsville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 6 with a family dinner at Das Dutch Haus, Columbiana.
The former Sharon Smith, daughter of the late Clyde and Fay Smith, married Robert Halfhill son of the late John and Sarah Halfhill, on April 6, 1962 at the Central Methodist Church of Wellsville. Rev. William A. Hewitt officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Halfhill retired from American Electric Power Windsor Coal Company and also served in the U.S. Army.

Mrs. Halfhill is a homemaker.
They have four daughters, Kimberly Noon, Julie (Rob) Garner, Starr (Mike) Ensinger, all of Wellsville; and Robin (Greg) Schwerha, Calcutta; and seven grandchildren.
