Too far

Editor:

I am writing this regarding the East Liverpool science teacher who is suspended. He had made a sexual comment toward a student but it's not the first time.

I graduated in 2009. Many female students I knew complained of his sexual harassment but none of us said anything because he never got into trouble. I would like to say he needs to be fired. I can say honestly that he has said five sexual things to me in the classroom, not directly, more hinting toward it but the point is he made me feel uncomfortable.

I mean, East Liverpool High School can stand up to bullying but not sexual harassment by a teacher? I think it's very important you should be able to feel comfortable in school.

It could be 90 degrees out and I would have a hoodie on just for the fear of feeling exposed because when he looked at you, you would know it.

I find it revolting and offensive that this can go on inside of school. I think it's time he gets fired.

I just think it has gone too far and, honestly, the paper should look into all the other reports because there's more. This isn't the first time he's been suspended.
