I'd like to address the subject of the food stamps card.

I see so many times when I'm out shopping, people have their shopping carts heaping over with junk food: chips, pop, cookies, cakes, candy. Absolutely no nutrition at all for their children.

So many families run out of food and food stamps usually the last week of every month. Then they go to food pantries and organizations looking for food.

I think there should be a limit on how much junk food can be bought on food stamp cards per month.

They need to know how to manage food and stretch it out for the month. There is a way. Divide how much they get on the food stamp card by four weeks. And only spend that amount each week. Make out menus for each day. Use leftovers. Try and leave enough for milk and bread at the end of each month. The food stamp card is being abused.
