SALINEVILLE - Ronnie and Macel Joy Sr., Salineville, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a dinner celebration, hosted by their children, on Feb. 18 at the Willows Inn.
The former Marcel Everson, daughter of the late Orion and Eileen Everson, married Ronnie Joy, son of the late Larry and Mary Jane Joy, on Feb. 22, 1972 in East Liverpool, with the Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Attendants were Pete Joy, brother of the groom; and Kay Windle, sister of the bride.
Mr. Joy served with the United States Marine Corps. during Vietnam and retired from the Homer Laughlin China Company in 2010

Mrs. Joy is a homemaker.
They have four children, Ronnie (Jennifer )Joy Jr. and Matthew (Melissa) Joy, all of Salineville; Michael (Jan) Joy, East Liverpool; and Erin (Michael) Woolley, Chester, W.Va.; and nine granddaughters.
