LEETONIA - Mr. and Mrs. James Bell, Longs Crossing Road, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary, with a vow renewal on Nov. 12 at the Franklin Square United Methodist Church, with Lisa Evans officiating.
The former Sandra Carlise married James Bell on Nov. 12, 1955.
Mr Bell worked as a plumber.

Mrs. Bell retired from the housekeeping department at Essex in Salem.
They have two sons, Rick (Anna) Bell, Mike (Amanda) Bell, all of Leetonia; and three daughters, Mrs. Shan (Bonnie) Lancaster, Mrs. Jim (Carol) Clunen, all of Salem; Mrs. Jim (Bev) Fortune, Leetonia; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A small reception hosted by their children and grandchildren followed the ceremony.
