I wonder how people could be so rude on such a memorable day.
My sister, who is attending Kent State for photo/journalism, attended the Veterans Memorial Assembly on Nov. 11 with my husband and I. Upon arriving we spoke with the former principal of the high school, Mrs. Vollnogle and my sister explained that she was there to take photos for her college assignment. After exchanging information with Mrs. Vonagle so that my sister could e-mail pictures to her for the school, Mrs. Vollnogle gave her the OK to do as she needed to get her pictures.
Shortly into the assembly people around my sister, who was standing, started to make rude remarks about her, to which she explained what she was doing and why, only to get the reply, "Well you need to go somewhere else." Which made my sister upset, so instead of creating a scene she left without being able to finish her assignment.
So I say to those three people who simply didn't take the time to ask questions or ask her to please move, shame on you. Maybe next time you should not be so quick to be rude until you know the full story.
