Editor:
I've sort of given up on our country's "recovery," what with our very poor foreign policy decisions, our loss of jobs overseas to cheaper labor, the non-stop loss of our middle class, the continuing drug problem, rising pollution, congressional corruption and now the list of candidates running for office.
The race for president really looks more than ever like a show out of "Saturday Night Live" or perhaps an old "Amos and Andy" radio show. What with Herman Cain (No Cain, No Gain) in his huge black cowboy hat and Rick Perry (Bush on steroids) saying "what I really meant was" blah, blah, blah.
Obama and the rest are so busy collecting lobbyists' money to pay for exaggerated, half true, very expensive TV ads, their sense of reality becomes how their public relations people define it.
So hold on to your seat belts America, it's going to be a rough ride.
